The Michigan Sports Hall of Fame recently announced its eight-member 2022 class that included former Michigan basketball standout Chris Webber, former Michigan basketball head coach John Beilein, and longtime Red Wings TV color analyst Mickey Redmond.
Also featured in this year’s class are Olympic gold medalists Meryl Davis and Charlie White, former Michigan softball pitcher Jennie Ritter, Detroit native Antonio Gates, and former Western Michigan athletic director Kathy Beauregard.
Notable 2020 inductees in former Piston Chauncey Billups and Michigan native Shane Battier also be honored during this year’s event.
