After five-plus decades in Detroit, the Great Lakes Invitational has a new home next season as the 57th installment will take place at the Van Andel Arena in downtown Grand Rapids.
The two-night, four-team tournament will happen December 27th and 28th and feature Michigan State (12 titles), Ferris State (0 titles), Michigan Tech (11 titles), and Western Michigan (3 titles).
The most notable omission from the tournament is Michigan, who holds the most GLI championships with 17, after playing in every GLI tournament since 1973.
