Following the recent news of the DeltaPlex shutting down its doors for good on July 31st, the Grand Rapids Gold needed a new home for hosting future NBA G League games.
That search has now officially ended as they have come to an agreement to have their home games held at the Van Andel Arena for the next five seasons beginning in 2022-23.
The Gold are entering their second season as the G League affiliate to the NBA’s Denver Nuggets after seven seasons under the Grand Rapids Drive name and serving as the affiliate for the Detroit Pistons.
