Seven Big Ten Players Taken In First Round Of The 2022 NFL Draft, Michigan’s Dax Hill Selected 31st By Cincinnati

The Big Ten Conference had a pretty good Thursday night to kick off the 2022 NFL Draft as seven players ended up being first round selections, and from a local standpoint, Michigan’s Dax Hill would be the last player from the conference taken in the first round as the Cincinnati Bengals would take the defensive back with the 31st overall selection.

The Wolverines ended up with two first round selections (DE Aidan Hutchinson – 2nd overall to Detroit and S Dax Hill – 31st overall to Cincinnati).

In regards to the other Big Ten teams, Ohio State had a pair of first round selections themselves (WR Garrett Wilson – 10th overall to N.Y. Jets and WR Chris Olave – 11th overall to New Orleans) followed by Penn State (WR Jahan Dotson – 16th overall to Washington); Iowa (C Tyler Linderbaum – 25th overall to Baltimore); and Purdue (DE George Karlaftis – 30th overall to Kansas City) with a pick apiece.
