MSU’s Nia Clouden And Michigan’s Naz Hillmon Selected In 2022 WNBA Draft

Monday night’s WNBA Draft saw a pair of collegiate players from the state of Michigan get taken in the Top 15 as Michigan State’s Nia Clouden and Michigan’s Naz Hillmon were selected by the Connecticut Sun and Atlanta Dream, respectively.

Clouden was the last pick in the first round, and the Maryland native averaged 16.1 points per contest in her Spartan career to go with 4 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 42.7% from the field.

Hillmon was the third selection of the second round, and the native of Ohio put up 18.3 points per game during her four-year Wolverines career to go with 8.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and almost a steal per contests while shooting 59.4% from the floor.
