The U.S. Women’s Hockey Team was unable to complete the comeback during last night’s Gold Medal Game at the 2022 Beijing Olympic Games against rival Canada falling by a 3-2 decision.
The Canadians jumped out to a 3-0 lead by the halfway point of the second period, but the Americans would try and rally eventually getting it down to a 3-2 contest with 12.5 seconds left in regulation, but time would run out on the comeback attempt.
The U.S. Women claim their fourth silver medal in Olympic history, while Canada’s Women’s Hockey Team picks up its fifth gold medal during their Winter Games tenure.
