Remember how he initially gave his verbal commitment to Michigan State, decommitted, and then put MSU back in his top choices before latching on to play collegiately with Memphis?

Well, Bates has now inked a deal with agent Raymond Brothers and Roc Nation Sports for NIL represenation.

Brothers serves as the President of Roc Nation Sports’ basketball division, which was founded in 2013 by “Jay Z.” Roc Nation Sports represents NBA stars Kyrie Irving and LaMelo Ball as well as NFL running backs Saquon Barkley and Leonard Fournette, among other professional athletes.
