Fans of the Detroit Lions know all about Kelly Stafford and her outspoken nature, especially when it comes to her husband in former Lions and current Rams Quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Well, Kelly is back at it once again as he spoke on her new podcast, “The Morning After with Kelly Stafford” detailing the emotions of Matthew’s first game in L.A. and had a few interesting quotes that will obviously ruffle the feathers of quite a few Lions fans:

“He looked like he was having so much fun, which I haven’t seen that side of Matthew on a football field in a very long time.”

“I felt like my husband has a renewed love for this sport again.”

Let’s face it, playing for the Lions will question anyone’s passion for the game over time, but the fact that it’s coming from Kelly Stafford will not sit well with a good chunk of the fan base because of her willingness to “tell it like it is” in her book.

In case you missed it, you can at least get a good chuckle out of NBC placing the camera on the wrong Kelly Stafford before correcting themselves later:
