Two Wolverines Selected In NBA Draft; MSU’s Aaron Henry Signs Two-Way Deal

Last night’s NBA Draft saw two Michigan Wolverines taken in the Top 60 as Franz Wagner was selected by the Orlando Magic with the 8th overall pick and will get to play alongside older brother Moritz Wagner and former Wolverine Ignas Brazdeikis.

In the second round at 42nd overall, the Pistons took Kalamazoo native Isaiah Livers, who gets to stay close to home to begin his professional career.

In other Wolverines-related news, former graduate transfers Mike Smith and Chaundee Brown will get a chance to showcase their skills in the summer with the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers, respectively.

No Michigan State Spartan was taken in this year’s NBA Draft, but one player will get a shot at playing at the next level as Aaron Henry was able to ink a deal with the Philadelphia 76ers.
