“Motor-Cade”: Pistons Get Their Guy At #1; Dip Into The Big Ten Pool In Round Two

To no one’s surprise, the Detroit Pistons got their guy with the #1 overall pick during last night’s NBA Draft in Oklahoma State Guard Cade Cunningham after weeks of speculation that they could possibly lean elsewhere or even trade out of the pick.  Cunningham will immediately make an impact on a young team that features rising prospects in Killian Hayes, Saddiq Bey, Isaiah Stewart, and Jerami Grant.

In the second round, the Pistons used two of its three picks on Big Ten standouts in Michigan’s Isaiah Livers (42nd overall) and Iowa’s Luka Garza (52nd overall) and wrapped up their draft selecting Florida State’s Balsa Koprivica (57th overall).
