Last month’s Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. fight made over $80 million in pay-per-view sales.
According to the New York Post, the exhibition fight drew 1.6 million PPV buys – one of the top 10 PPV events ever.
Tyson reportedly scored $10 million for the fight, while Jones took home $3 million.
With money like that, more Tyson fights are inevitable – maybe even a much-rumored rematch with Evander Holyfield.
Did you watch Tyson vs. Jones? Why was it such a hit? How much business would a Tyson v. Holyfield fight draw?
