Detroit Lions kicker Matt Prater is no stranger to the big moment in games. Yesterday, he nailed a 59-yard field goal to seal a 30-27 over the Washington Football Team.

The Lions are now 4-5 on the season and Prater jumped ahead in his competition with Broncos kicker Brandon McManus. Whoever ends the season with the longest field goal made, Bud Light will be giving either Denver or Detroit free beer.
McManus has made a 56-yard field goal this season. He’s never made a field goal longer than 57 yards in his career.
Prater might’ve won the city of Detroit some free Bud Light with his clutch kick on Sunday.
