Michigan fan receives jail time for threatening Ohio State players

It’s fair to say that the Michigan-Ohio State rivalry has been one-sided for awhile now. The Wolverines last victory over the Buckeyes was eight years ago.

Back in 2018, Ohio State trounced Michigan 62-39 in Columbus. This made some fans very unhappy, but nothing like Daniel Rippy. He turned to Facebook to make threats against former OSU head coach Urban Meyer, players, and fans.

This wasn’t a wise decision as Rippy just learned about his year-long prison sentence. This is after he’s already spent ten months in jail in Columbus, according to a report.

A lesson to sports fans: There is such thing as taking it a little too far with your fandom.
