Aaron Rodgers is apparently feeling ‘sacked;’ though, he hasn’t taken a snap yet this season.

The Packers quarterback shared his thoughts on COVID-19 in an interview with WISN 1130 Milwaukee.

Rodgers says what started as a quarantine to flatten the curve has turned into “house arrest to find a cure with people wondering exactly what that means as far as the future of the country and the freedoms we’re allowed to have at this point.”

And, while he hopes the NFL season can start on time, Rodgers notes the country has bigger problems, “36-plus million people on unemployment right now, we have rising poverty levels to go along … suicide hotline is up 8,000%. There’s really a lot of problems going on in the country right now associated with the fear around this pandemic and I hope that we can use some common sense moving forward…”

Will the NFL season kick off on schedule? Even if it does, how much revenue will be lost? Would enough revenue be lost to cause leagues to decide against playing?
