Rays Pitcher Blake Snell says he won’t play for reduced MLB salary

MLB players and owners are not seeing eye to eye over money essentially.

The owners have offered a 50-50 split, but the players want to get their prorated salary that was promised to them back in March before the season started.

Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Blake Snell came out and publicly stated he will not be playing this season on a reduced salary.

Snell is scheduled to make $7 million this season.
