Tickets to the memorial no sports fan ever wanted to attend went on sale this morning at 10 a.m.: the “Celebration of Life for Kobe & Gianna Bryant.”

Pre-registration demand outpaced the 20,000 available tickets. Emails were sent to most saying they were on a wait list while, FOX L.A. reports, others received a purchase code.

The ticket prices – $224 each, two for $224, and $24.02 – coincide with Kobe’s No. 24 and Gianna’s No. 2. Proceeds will go to the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation.

The Feb. 24, 10 a.m., memorial will be televised on FOX 11 L.A. and live streamed at FOXLA.com.
