Bret Bielema interested in head coaching job at Michigan State

The Michigan State football program is in a tough spot.

Mark Dantonio stepped down last week and multiple candidates have already turned down the open position.

Former Wisconsin head coach Bret Bielema has interest, according to report from the Detroit News.

He had a tremendous amount of success with the Badgers, going 68-24 and winning a couple of Big Ten titles. The blemish on his resume is the 29-34 record he had at Arkansas after leaving Wisconsin.

He’s currently the linebackers coach with the New York Giants. Would you want to see the Spartans pursue Bielema?
