Last week, Michigan basketball head coach Juwan Howard suspended his senior point guard, Zavier Simpson.
It was said that he violated team policies and was left at that.
According to MLive, he wrecked a car that belongs to athletic director Warde Manuel’s wife. Here’s more from writer Samuel Dodge:
“Simpson said he drove the car into a utility pole due to icy conditions, according to the police report. Simpson told police he was the only person in the car when the accident occurred. He was issued a traffic citation for driving too fast for conditions, police said Thursday.”

Simpson was reinstated to the program last weekend before their game with Rutgers. The Wolverines are 1-1 since his return to the lineup.
