After seeing it’s ratings drop in 2016 and 2017, the NFL has to be happy with their results over the last two years.

They’ve seen a five percent increase in each of the last two seasons. According to ABC News, the league was credited for 47 of the 50 most-watched shows on TV last year.

Something that does help the league is the emergence of young phenoms at the quarterback position like Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson.

The season will conclude after Sunday’s Super Bowl matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers.
