Former Detroit Lions head coach and current Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz is interviewing for a new job. It’s for the new opening as the head coach of the Cleveland Browns.
After the end of the 2019 regular season, Cleveland fired Freddie Kitchens who led the team to a 6-10 record in his only full season as the head coach.
Schwartz would be acquiring a team that has quite a bit of talent. He was the head coach of the Detroit Lions from 2009 to the end of the 2013 season. He led the the Lions to a 10-win season and a playoff birth.
If you remember correctly, Schwartz took over the season after the Lions went 0-16.
