The Detroit Pistons could potentially lose both of their All Stars for different reasons.
Forward Blake Griffin is considering season-ending surgery on his injured left knee, Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes reported Monday. The six-time All-Star, who has missed the past four contests and played only 18 games this season, will visit a specialist this week, per the report.
Griffin, 30, had surgery on the same knee during the offseason.
Drummond has been considered a pretty big trade chip as we approach the NBA’s trade deadline. Multiple teams have been reported in having interest.
The Pistons could potentially land a higher first-round pick for Drummond.
What’s next for the Pistons? Is it finally time to rebuild?
