Drew Brees has historic performance on Monday Night Football

Drew Brees has often played in the shadows of quarterbacks like Peyton Manning and Tom Brady throughout his career. Well last night, he had a night every NFL fan will remember. The Saints quarterback passed Manning as the all-time leader for touchdown passes.

He did this while completing 29 of his 30 passes (96%) for 307 yards. Brees had four touchdown passes in the game. This adds to his first-ballot, hall of fame profile.

Brees already holds the NFL record for both career passing yards (72,577) and career completions (6,792).

He’s currently playing in his 19th season in the league. How much more can he accomplish before it’s all said and done?
