The Detroit Lions are definitely having a season that everyone would like to forget. They’re 3-10-1 going into their final two weeks of the season and losers of seven straight games.

If the chips fall in place, the Lions can move into the top 3 of the 2020 NFL Draft order. A few things have to happen first.

The obvious one is they have to lose on Sunday to the Denver Broncos. That’s a likely scenario considering how many players Detroit has on the injured reserve list. It’s also a road game.

The Miami Dolphins have to beat the Cincinnati Bengals as well. There’s a big chance of that happening considering the Bengals have just one win this season.

The Redskins (3-11) and the Giants (3-11) also play this weekend. Both of those teams are positioned ahead of the Lions in the draft order so the winner would move back in the order.
