A major move was made yesterday in Major League Baseball. All-star pitcher Gerrit Cole is going to be a New York Yankee.
It’s likely that the Yankees will pay more for Gerrit Cole and Giancarlo Stanton than the Orioles will spend on their entire team.

The deal is nine years and worth $324 million. It is the biggest contract any free agent pitcher has ever signed in Major League Baseball history.
During the 2019 postseason, Cole recorded a 1.72 ERA with a 0.87 WHIP and a 4-1 record. He finished the regular season with a 20-5 record.
