The Red Wings are struggling more than most teams in the NHL right now.

After last night’s 5-1 loss to the New York Rangers, the Wings have dropped 12 out of their last 13 games.

It was pretty clear that this team wasn’t going to contend this year. They’re young and inexperienced still. However, where do you draw the line?

It easy to assume that the team might not be buying into what head coach Jeff Blashill is preaching at this point. A portion of these losses during the rough stretch have not even been close.
