Kerryon Johnson to miss time for the Detroit Lions

It seemed like the Detroit Lions found their running back of the future in Kerryon Johnson.

He averaged over 5 yards a carry last season and helped elevate Detroit’s running game for the first time in a long time.

This year, he’s averaging just 3 yards a carry and hasn’t been effective. That’s partially due to the offensive line not getting much of a push up front as well.

Johnson suffered a knee injury in Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings and was unable to to return to the game. He’s now expected to miss some time with that injury.

He was held out of last season partially because of injuries. Can he bounce back from this?
