11-year-old Blues superfan with rare illness given Stanley Cup ring

11-year-old Laila Anderson, despite suffering from a rate auto-immune disease, didn’t let anything stop her from cheering on her absolute favorite hockey team of all time, the St. Louis Blues.

During the Blues championship season, Anderson became the team’s biggest cheerleader, revving up crowds at each game and inspiring her team to keep pushing forward for the Stanley Cup win.

ABC News reports that Anderson’s unwavering support didn’t go unnoticed by the Blues, with players Alexander Steen and Colton Parayko paid a visit to her and gave her her very own Stanley Cup ring with her name inscribed more than amongst 300 diamonds and sapphires.
