The Detroit Lions nearly beat one of the best teams in the NFL on Sunday afternoon. However, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs were able to orchestrate a drive resulting in a touchdown with 20 seconds left in the fourth quarter.
The Chiefs won 34-30 and improved to 4-0 on the season.

The Lions lost their first game of the season with many of their key players inactive (Darius Slay, Danny Amendola, Mike Daniels,etc.). Quarterback Matthew Stafford was even labeled as ‘questionable’ leading up to Sunday’s game.
He still threw for 291 yards and a three touchdowns. Kerryon Johnson had over 100 yards on the ground. Detroit’s offense was firing on all cylinders.
The defense gave up 27 points but didn’t allow Mahomes to throw a TD pass.
It’s hard to say you can feel good after a loss, but this might be one of those situations. A lot of fans have even jumped to social media to say that.
Are you buying into the Detroit Lions this season?
