To no one’s surprise, Paul Finebaum is taking more jabs at the University of Michigan and head coach Jim Harbaugh.
Many believe this could be the year that Harbaugh and co. get over the hump. Urban Meyer is no longer at Ohio State. He’s beaten Michigan State in two out of the last three years.
Via Sporting News, Finebaum responded to the hype surrounding the Wolverines:
“I think part of it comes from people in the South not really believing Michigan is worthy of all the conversation that they get,” Finebaum told SN.
He points to Alabama’s 41-14 victory against Michigan in 2012 and back-to-back bowl losses to South Carolina and Florida the last two seasons to make his point.
“To me, Michigan always seems like that guy at the end of the bar that is just running his mouth, and then he sneaks out because he knows he’s about to get clocked,” he said. “I just don’t think there is a high level of respect for Michigan.”
Michigan fans: Do you think this is a put-up or shut-up year for Harbaugh and the Wolverines?
