Actor Nick Turturro is accusing Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson of flipping him off during Sunday’s game against the Yankees.
The “Blue Bloods” star, who’s a lifelong New York fan, was at Dodgers Stadium to cheer on his Yanks during the away game. And that’s exactly what he did, getting so rowdy at times that the TV crew cut to him several times during the telecast. Apparently, Pederson was well aware of Turturro’s allegiance to the Bombers; when he hit a homer during his first turn at bat, he allegedly gave the actor the finger as he rounded third base.
“Can you believe this?,” Turturro ranted in a video he posted online. “I’m sitting here in the front row; Joc Pederson just flipped me off for nothing! I was just looking at him!” In the clip, Turturro goes on to say Pederson is now on his “sh** list,” boasting, “I’m officially in your head!” Pederson failed to get another hit, and the Yankees ended up winning 5-1.
Do you think Pederson really singled out Turturro? Have you ever felt an athlete made eye contact with you at a game?
