Tom Brady plans to play football for at least two more years. The Patriots and Brady have agreed to a two-year, $70 million contract extension that will make him the sixth highest-paid QB in the NFL.
The #Patriots and QB Tom Brady are in agreement on a 2-year deal worth $70M, source said, thru 2021. He gets $23M this year, then $30M and $32M in the following years — though both sides are amenable to adjusting it if the situations warrants. It’s essentially year-to-year.

Both parties, however, have reportedly agreed that to allow Brady or his team to back out of the contract before his two years are up, according to ESPN. Brady has said that he plans on playing football until he’s 45; he turned 42 this weekend.
Did you think, for a second, that Brady would have ended up a free-agent?
