Detroit Lions: Defensive line injuries piling up

It’s a good thing the Detroit Lions signed free agent Mike Daniels over the weekend.

On the fourth day of training camp, they ended their day of practicing with just four defensive linemen left on the field,  according to Kyle Meinke of MLive.

Da’Shawn Hand, Austin Bryant, John Atkins and Mitchell Loewen all left practice with an injury. Trey Flowers is still on the PUP list, Snacks Harrison and Darius Kilgo are on the non-football injury list, and A’Shawn Robinson is excused from training camp for a personal matter right now.

Now some of these are not too much to worry about. However, Hand was one of the more impressive rookies in the league last season on the defensive side of the ball.

Detroit just drafted Austin Bryant in a position that some believed was a steal.

Lions fans: is any of this concerning?
