Michigan wide receiver named on the 2019 Paul Hornung Award watch list

Last year, a Big Ten player won the Paul Hornung Award. This goes to the most versatile player in major college football. That was freshman Rondale Moore from Purdue University.

Moore broke Purdue’s school record for all-purpose yards in a season (2,215) and a game (313).

This year, Michigan’s Donovan Peoples-Jones is on the award watch list.

Last season he had 47 receptions for over 600 yards receiving and eight touchdowns. Jones also returned a punt for a touchdown last season.

He’s going into his junior season at Michigan as the clear number one receiver.

Michigan State’s Connor Heyward was named to the Paul Hornung Award watch list as well.
