This has to be a bit of a relief for the organization as well as fans of the Detroit Lions.

Damon “Snacks” Harrison and Darius Slay both reported to training camp in Allen Park, MI on time. Both players are currently seeking new contracts with the team.
If you’re a Lions fan, you understand how important both of these players are to Matt Patricia’s defense. Harrison’s run-stopping ability helped the Lions’ defense turn a corner last season after he was acquired before the trade deadline.
Darius Slay has been a premiere cornerback in the NFL for years now and is needed in the secondary.
