Sad news coming out of the hockey world today. Former NHL player Greg Johnson died on Monday.
Johnson was well-traveled across the league, playing for four different teams during his 14-year career. He played in 177 games with the Detroit Red Wings. He scored 81 points during that time.
The peak of Johnson’s career is when he was with the Nashville Predators. He was their second captain after being added as an expansion team. Johnson was the first captain to lead them to the Stanley Cup playoffs.
He played in over 500 games with the Nashville Predators.
