Zion Williamson To Miss Rest Of Summer League With Bruised Knee

If you were dying to see Number One overall pick Zion Williamson play hoops in the summer league, you had about ten minutes to do so.

He suffered a bruised left knee in Friday’s game and will be held out of action for the remainder of the tournament.

While fans in Vegas will be disappointed not to see any more of Williamson in action this month, it’s no surprise that the Pelicans will be cautious with their new franchise cornerstone.

Williamson played just nine minutes in his professional debut against the Knicks on Friday. He scored 11 points and grabbed three rebounds.
