The Detroit Pistons are looking to add another veteran to their team, according to reports. They have shown a lot of interest in JaVale McGee, a veteran center who spent last season with the Los Angeles Lakers.
He averaged 12 points and seven rebounds a game last year in LA. McGee averaged 22 minutes a game during the 2018-2019 campaign, the most since 2011 with the Washington Wizards.
McGee would be an instant upgrade to their backup center position. Zaza Pachulia played that role last season for the Pistons. McGee is set to meet with the organization today to discuss a deal.
Detroit has also met with veteran Jared Dudley.
Do you like the fit of McGee in the Pistons’ rotation?
