Christian Yelich, Mike Trout, and Cody Bellinger will be some of the featured players in a game jam-packed with the league’s best talent.

This year the game will be played at Progressive Field in Cleveland.

Looking up and down the list for the AL, there aren’t any members of the Detroit Tigers. That won’t really surprise you if you’ve watched any of the 2019 version of the Tigers.

Yes, fan voting can be a bit skewed but there is no one that’s deserving of the honor on this year’s team.

That happens to be their biggest problem. The Tigers have no stars. Miguel Cabrera was once a star but he’s far from it now.

Detroit is approaching the All Star break with a record of 26-50 and the worst winning percentage in the AL Central.

We were expecting a rebuild but it’s been much worse than some fans have expected.

Reserves will be announced this Sunday for both teams. There’s a chance closer Shane Greene gets selected to in that role.
