Pistons trade Jon Leuer to Bucks for Tony Snell, first-round pick

The Detroit Pistons have been relatively quiet since being bounced in the first round of the playoffs by the Milwaukee Bucks. However, they’ve broken their silence.

Less than a day before the NBA draft, they trade veteran Jon Leuer to the Bucks for Tony Snell and a first-round pick. That pick happens to be the 30th overall pick in this year’s draft.

So now the Pistons own two first-round picks for tonight. Could this be strategy to potentially move up in tonight’s draft order? Teams that typically own two later round picks try to move into the lottery to get a better player.

They may not be done just yet. Anyway, here’s a video to meet the newest member of the Detroit Pistons.
