The Golden State Warriors have been hit with injuries in the 2019 postseason.
They lost DeMarcus Cousins in the first round against the Los Angeles Clippers to a quad injury. Golden State then lost Kevin Durant to a calf injury during the Western Conference Semifinals.
Steve Kerr: De Marcus Cousins has scrimmaged couple times this week. Pain free. Not sure on Game 1. “More a matter of rhythm, timing, conditioning…If this were regular season I’d throw him out there…(but) it’s the Finals. We have to figure what’s the best way to utilize him.”

While Durant is ruled out for game one of the NBA Finals, Cousins’ status is still questionable.
The Warriors were able to sweep the Portland Trailblazers in the Western Conference Finals without both Cousins and Durant. That’s not to say the Warriors won’t need his presence tonight in Toronto.
Tip off is at 9 ET on ABC.
