Michigan extends athletic director Warde Manuel’s contract for five years

The University of Michigan has announced a five-year contract extension for athletic director Warde Manuel that will run until June 30, 2030. Manuel, a former football player at Michigan under Bo Schembechler, has been with the university since 2016 after serving as the athletic director at the University of Connecticut from 2012 to 2016.
