Red Wings acquire Fabbri from Blues

The Detroit Red Wings acquired Robby Fabbri from the St. Louis Blues in exchange for fellow forward Jacob de la Rose, the teams announced early Thursday morning.Fabbri has recorded one goal in nine games this season for the Blues.The 23-year-old has collected 32 goals and 41 assists in 164 career games since St. Louis selected him with a first-round pick (21st overall) in the 2014 NHL Draft.”He’s a great kid and a hard-working guy,” Blues coach Craig Berube said of Fabbri. “He fell on some injuries around here, and we wish him all the best.”De la Rose has scored one goal and set up three others in 16 games this season with the Red Wings.
