Derrick Rose fined for throwing pen into stands

Frustrated as the Pistons were on the way to racking up another loss on Monday night, Derrick Rose made it well known. Unfortunately, that will now cost him.

With 37 seconds left on the clock in the overtime session, Detroit called a timeout. Walking over to the sideline table, Rose picked up a pen and tossed it across the court and into the stands.

On Tuesday, the league announced that they’re hitting the guard with a $25,000 fine for the action.

Falling to the New Orleans Pelicans 117-110, the Pistons have dropped 12 of the past 15 games.

Did the league make the right decision? Should he face other disciplines?
