It looks like NFL teams will have even more money to throw around in 2020.
The league has informed teams it’s raising the salary cap to somewhere between $196.8 million and $201.2 million for the upcoming season, multiple sources are reporting. It’s currently set at $188.2 million.
The new cap represents a 65 percent increase from the $120 million set in 2011, the first year the Collective Bargaining Agreement went into effect.
Do you think it’s fair for the NFL to impose a salary cap? Do you think the cap is too high already?
