Browns’ Myles Garrett set to appeal suspension on Wednesday

Suspended Browns player Myles Garrett is going to have his day in court.

Brown, who was suspended “indefinitely” for his role in Thursday’s Browns-Steelers brawl, is scheduled to meet with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell on Wednesday to appeal the ruling. Sources tell ESPN if Garrett can’t convince Goodell to overturn the decision, he hopes to at least have a finite number of days assigned to the suspension so he could return to the game.

The fight occurred after Garrett took down Mason Rudolph a little too hard, incurring a penalty. Rudolph retaliated by attempting to rip off Garrett’s helmet and kicking him in the groin. Garrett grabbed Rudolph’s helmet and, as he was being restrained by other players, hit Rudolph in the head with it.

Will the fact that Rudolph wasn’t punished help Garrett’s argument? Do you think Garrett deserves the punishment he received?
