They’ve made changes up and down the organization. One move affected the West Michigan Whitecaps.
They’ve promoted former manager Lance Parrish to be a special assistant to Tigers GM Al Avila. That move then opened up the manager position for the Whitecaps.
They’ve hired Brayan Pena to be the new manager of the team. He played for 12 years in the MLB as a catcher including one year with the Tigers in 2013.
