MSU basketball falls to No. 3 in Top 25 poll

No. 1 has never felt so good…and passed so quickly. The Michigan State Spartans are no longer the top dog in college basketball.

They were ranked No. 1 going into the season. After losing their opener to a solid Kentucky team and following it up with a 100-point performance and win, they’ve dropped to No. 3 in the AP Top 25 Poll.

Kentucky holds the top spot now, a place they haven’t been since the 2016-2017 season. Duke also sits ahead of Michigan State in the No. 2 spot.

It’s very early in the season to tell where teams will be. Do you think the Spartans will remain in the Top 5 for a majority of the season?
