Nationals fan gets hit by ball while holding beers

While catching a home run ball during Game 5 of the World Series may have left this man with something for his mantelpiece, there would have been a huge cost associated with the feat.

Mainly the two tall cans of beer he was carrying back to his seats.

Smacked by the Astros’ Yordan Alvarez, the dinger sailed right into the chest of Jeff Adams, who didn’t flinch or drop the drinks. USA Today declared him a “hero”.

Meanwhile, as a Nationals fan, Adams threw some shade at the opposing team, joking he wasn’t hurt, because, “the Astros don’t hit hard.”

Ever catch a ball at a baseball game? Would it have been worth losing a drink or two?
