Cleveland Indians approaching historic domination over the Detroit Tigers

The Detroit Tigers are rebuilding and heading down the home stretch of a less than memorable 2019 season.

They lost to the Cleveland Indians last night on the road. This normally isn’t that big of a deal, but the Indians have absolutely dominated the Tigers this season.

The Indians won 7-2 last night and have now beaten the Tigers in 16 out of 17 games in their season series, including 15 straight.

The last time Cleveland had this kind of success against a single team was way back in the 1954 season. They beat the Baltimore Orioles 17 consecutive times in a season.

The two teams play just two more games against each other this season.
