Now that DeMarcus Cousins it out this season with an injury, Lakers Nation says that there is “mutual interests” in adding veteran center Dwight Howard to the Los Angeles lineup. There are rumors that Laker executives want to meet with Howard.

The idea of bringing Howard back to the team could make some nervous; he isn’t known for his congeniality. He butts heads in the locker room and has had a hard time staying healthy while bouncing from 5 teams since he left Los Angeles after one year.

Anonymous NBA executives say that Howard is worth any personnel risk. One said, “He’s the cleanest player out there as long as he’s healthy.”
